Terms of Service for Still

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Still (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Still is a meditation and Bible study application that provides:

• Bible verses and meditation content
• AI-powered Bible insights (Premium feature)
• Verse saving and organization features
• Breathing exercises and mindfulness tools

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Types

• Guest Accounts: Limited features, device-based
• Registered Accounts: Full features, email-based

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us of any unauthorized use
• Managing your registered devices (maximum of 5 devices per account)

3.3 Device Management

• Each account can be used on up to 5 devices
• Devices are identified by secure device fingerprints
• You can remove devices through account settings
• Device-based account recovery available for registered devices

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Premium Subscription

• Monthly Plan: $3.99/month
• Yearly Plan: $39.99/year (2 months free)
• Features: Unlimited AI summaries and deep dives
• Billing: Automatic renewal based on selected plan
• Prices subject to change with notice

4.2 Payment Terms

• Payments processed securely through Stripe
• Charges occur at the beginning of each billing period
• No refunds for partial months

4.3 Cancellation

• Cancel anytime through the app settings
• Access continues until the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for unused time

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Share your account with others
• Use the AI features to generate inappropriate content

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 Bible Content

• Bible text is from the Catholic Public Domain Version (CPDV)
• Used in accordance with its public domain status

6.2 User Content

• You retain rights to your saved verses and notes
• We have a license to store and display your content within the App

6.3 Our Content

• All other App content is owned by Still or its licensors
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI insights are provided for spiritual reflection and should not replace:

• Professional theological education
• Pastoral counseling
• Official church teachings

We make no guarantees about the accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated content.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service Availability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy of content
• Fitness for a particular purpose

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Still shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Still and its affiliates from any claims arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through:

• In-app notifications
• Email (for registered users)

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• We may delete your data after 30 days
• No refunds will be provided

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
